- A detailed list is prepared by you, showing model number, quantity, condition and photos, as this helps when making the contingent offer.
- The date of availability, and the pickup location is established.
- ABlaze reviews the list and provides a valuation of the equipment based on model numbers, quantities, condition and date of availability.
- A contingent offer (sometimes a range in value) is submitted to the client in form of a purchase order.
- When offer is accepted, ABlaze will coordinate the pickup of the equipment. The client boxes, palletizes and sends photos of the equipment before shipping. We are also happy to come onsite and help with the process on larger projects.
- The equipment is picked up/delivered to our warehouse in Minneapolis where it is audited, sorted, tested and prepped for resale or end-of-life ITAD. (ITAD Meaning: Asset Disposition is the business of disposing of outdated, unviable, or undesired equipment in an environmentally safe and responsible manner).
- Any hardware requiring data destruction is locked in our secure data area, the data wiping operation is performed and certificate of data destruction is forwarded to the client.
- Payment is made to our client in full within 7-10 days.
- ABlaze markets the saleable equipment and recycles the end-of-life hardware using proper ITAD protocol.
