ASSET DISPOSITION
Removal of Assets &
Packaging for Transport
ABlaze will remove all nominated assets, take them directly to the loading dock and transport the hardware from your premises. For local refreshes, we will load the old assets onto our customized trolleys, minimizing the overall time we spend at your premises. For regional and remote locations, old assets will be palletized ready for collection.
Receipt & Registration
Once the assets have been delivered to us, they will be checked into our asset tracking/warehouse system. All assets will be transported into our warehouse. Each asset will be unpacked and registered onto our system. Individual barcode labels will be generated to manage each asset through our process.
Asset Inspection and Testing
The assets will then be taken to the next stage of our process where our team will test and inspect them. All these details will be captured electronically and updated instantaneously into our asset tracking/warehouse system. We inspect and test all assets on receipt unless they are obviously of no value. On completion of this testing, each asset will have its detailed condition noted against it.
Certified Disk Sanitization
ABlaze provides a range of disk wiping solutions. Hard drives can be wiped at your premises or ours, using your preferred tools or those that we recommend. ABlaze writes the log files of all disks we wipe to a secure server as part of our Quality Accredited processes. Clients can choose from multiple pass wipes (in accordance with DoD and NIST standards) through to a physical drilling...
Assets Re-Marketing
We will purchase and re-market all assets that pass our testing phase and have a value in the used wholesale market. Our extensive re-marketing experience and network of business partners and accredited buyers in America and overseas ensures you will receive the maxim return on all valuable assets.
PC Refurbishment, Re-Imaging
and Re-Deployment
Dependent on asset condition and instructions from the client, our refurbishment services range from the simple test and clean through to comprehensive cleaning, data scrubbing, repairs, memory upgrades, software rebuilds, specific user re-imaging, and Warranty. Our warranty service on assets is our guarantee of Quality Assurance for all stock at resale or re-deployment.
Certified Environmental
Disposal
ABlaze takes its e-Waste responsibilities seriously. All assets deemed to be unusable in their present form are data-wiped and dismantled with all components separated into bins. i.e. plastics, mother boards, sheet metal, glass, copper and cable. These are then passed onto our partner companies who reuse or specialize in the remanufacture of these materials.

Ablaze hard drive shredding process has been certified using classified recovery methods. Using our extensive national network of logistics partners we will collect assets from any location in USA and securely transport them back to our closest warehouse. The services include:
- Collect from nominated location, boxed or un-boxed
- Transport to our warehouses
Asset Registration
On receipt at our premises assets details and specifications are recorded in our Asset Management System and all items are barcoded and logged for tracking and reporting purposes. The registration process consists:
- Match incoming assets to vendor job number
Testing
- Assets are physically checked for appearance,operability and completeness
- All labels and identity labels are removed
- Diagnostic check on all componentry
- Condition and damages recorded
Certified Data Sanitization
We will securely wipe hard drives
- Insert software and run erasure program for agreed number of overwrite passes
- Drivers can be removed for retention if necessary
- Certification of all hard drives sanitized

All assets that pass testing and are considered end of life, can be:
- Held in quarantine for future re-deployment to nominated client sites or for other purposes
- Purchased by ABlaze and re-marketed into our network of local and global buyers
